THIS EVENING.

TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO CLIMB INTO THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND
100 DEGREES FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THESE TEMPERATURES...IN TANDEM WITH
INCREASED HUMIDITY...WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 105 AND
109 DEGREES FRIDAY AFTERNOON. ADDITIONAL HEAT ADVISORIES WILL
LIKELY BE NEEDED THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS THE HEAT WAVE CONTINUES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS
EXPECTED. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND HIGH HUMIDITY
WILL COMBINE TO CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE
POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED
